I love to connect with people to communicate about topics that matter. Over the past 15 years, I have presented well over 100 professional development workshops, webinars, conference sessions, invited lectures, presentations for students, presentations for parents, graduation speeches, and keynote addresses.
With a dynamic, storytelling approach, my goal is to engage audiences with a balance of humor and provocative ideas. Participants leave encouraged, challenged, and equipped to put their learning into practice.
Here’s an example: after a professional development workshop I led, a participant sent me this email:
“Your session on engaging classroom activities was not only informative but truly inspirational. As a fellow educator at a Christian school, I am constantly searching for ways to make my lessons more dynamic and interactive, and your passion for creative teaching methods was contagious. Your genius in crafting engaging activities truly shines through, and the examples you shared resonated deeply with me.
Beyond the specific methods, what struck me most was your overall approach to teaching – something you obviously love to do. You have a remarkable gift for making the learning process not just informative but also transformative and fun.
Thank you for sharing your talent and expertise with us all. Your workshop was a valuable reminder of the joy and power of teaching, and I am leaving feeling motivated and inspired to do my best for my students.”
That’s really my goal—I always want to be a blessing and an encouragement to the folks I’m working with!
Positivity. Passion. Purpose.
That’s what I bring to the table. I would love to be part of your event, if I can help!

“Dr. Dave’s passion for student learning and equipping teachers shines through from the platform and in the individual conversations he has with his audience members. His experience and research driven presentations are witty and engaging as he challenges educators to examine their classroom practices. Veteran and novice educators alike will leave their time with Dr. Mulder having gained valuable insight for further facilitating the educational journey of their students.”

“Our teachers loved Dr. Mulder’s practical approach to instructional design. The modeling and engagement that Dave provided along the way gave them the confidence to recognize that this was not just ‘one more thing to do.’ Dave leaned into the experience of our educators highlighting their successes and allowing them to learn from one another along the way. We have seen our teachers return to his sessions again and again.”

“I have attended several of Dr. Dave’s professional development opportunities and greatly appreciate his passion for the profession, the professionals, and the students. He approaches the sessions with humility in his own practice and joy and enthusiasm in learning together. Supported with thorough research and Biblical thinking, his sessions have left me inspired, challenged, and equipped for teaching and learning well. “

“Dr. Mulder’s expertise in education, coupled with his genuine, personal manner, make him an excellent presenter and teacher. Dave’s real gifting is his ability to effectively communicate concepts of quality education in a style that “tells the Story,” connecting with his audience. Add to this his engaging humor, which enriches his teaching. I found myself listening as if he were speaking with me personally! He does…he connects.”

“Dr. Dave led a summer workshop on a Biblical approach to technology integration. His background knowledge and expertise in this area rose up in all of his teaching sessions. What really shines through, however, is his heart for the learner. Dr. Dave invites people into a story of high quality teaching through modeling, examples, stories, and research. It is a delight to partner with him to grow in our craft of teaching Christianly.”

“Dr. Mulder provided professional development for our K-12 system during a challenging time. I reached out to him after hearing him advise an ACSI Town Hall meeting, and he graciously came alongside us to provide training that our teachers needed. In the feedback we received after his presentations, one of our administrators noted that ‘Dr. Mulder provided insight on some current issues I’m facing with staff,’ and a veteran teacher wrote, ‘Dr. Mulder was the best PD I have ever had, and it has changed my life!’ For leaders and teachers alike, Dr. Mulder’s expertise is a valuable resource for any school.”

“After the forced jump to remote learning in the Spring of 2020 and with the possibility of more remote learning looking into the next school year, HCA turned to Dr. Mulder to educate, encourage, and inspire our faculty. Dr. Mulder’s presentation on “Promising Practices in Online Teaching” not only instilled confidence and competency in our faculty as they prepared for any possible future online instruction but for instruction in general whether in person or online. As Dr. Mulder emphasized, “Good teaching is still good teaching” regardless of the format, and his training and tools reminded us all of what good teaching looks like. Because of the resources and expertise he provided, HCA is poised to serve our community well regardless of our format of instructional delivery.”

“Our instructional staff worked with Dr. Mulder on a series of four professional development sessions on the topic of assessment. He challenged our teachers to be honest on past practices—good and bad. He encouraged us to laugh and learn, and most importantly he equipped us with new tools to measure student learning. Our staff thoroughly enjoyed both his lively personality, his sense of humor, and his expertise.”
